Candy exports from Brazil are projected to drop slightly in the next five years to around 66 million kilograms. This is a 0.5% decrease year-on-year on average, compared to the 0.3% growth registered since 1994. In 2021, Brazil was the 16th largest exporter of candy, with Czech Republic in first place at 67.9 million kilograms. China, Mexico and Belgium followed in second, third and fourth places respectively. Brazil's imports of candy are expected to reach 8.2 million kilograms by 2026, a 0.7% increase year-on-year on average, compared to the 2.3% growth experienced since 1994. In 2021, Brazil ranked 67th for candy imports, with Latvia in first place at 7.9 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands were in second, third and fourth places respectively.
