In 2021, Ecuador was the 46th largest importer of candy, while Lithuania led the way with 14 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands followed as the second, third and fourth biggest importers respectively. Meanwhile, Ecuador's candy exports are expected to reach almost 4 million kilograms by 2026, a 2.3% decrease from 2021's 4.5 million kilograms. Since 1996, the country's supply of candy has fallen by 7.4% each year. In 2021, Ecuador was the 57th biggest exporter, while Slovenia topped the list at 4.5 million kilograms. China, Mexico and Belgium were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively.
