The United States, France and the Netherlands respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Benin's candy imports are set to drop by 29.4% to 259,720 kilograms by 2026. This is in comparison to the 1.7 million kilograms imported in 2021, which placed Benin at 108th in the world rankings. Iceland led the way with the highest imports, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. Benin's candy exports have also seen a decrease, from 21,860 kilograms in 2017 to 7,700 in 2018 - a 64.8% drop. However, since 2003, Benin's exports have increased by 1.3% year on year. In 2018, Benin ranked 129th in the world rankings, with the Republic of Congo leading the way, followed by the United States, France and the Netherlands.
