Iceland led the way with the highest imports, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. Benin's candy exports have also seen a decrease, from 21,860 kilograms in 2017 to 7,700 in 2018 - a 64.8% drop. However, since 2003, Benin's exports have increased by 1.3% year on year. In 2018, Benin ranked 129th in the world rankings, with the Republic of Congo leading the way, followed by the United States, France and the Netherlands.
