Romanian candy export is set to reach nearly 3.7 million kilograms by 2026, according to the latest figures. This represents a year-on-year growth rate of 2.3% since 2021 and an 8.5% increase since 1997. Romania was ranked 66th in 2021, with Togo in the lead at 3.2 million kilograms. China, Mexico and Belgium took the next three spots in the rankings. Meanwhile, Romanian candy import is on track to reach 39.2 million kilograms by 2026, with a year-on-year growth rate of 2.8% since 2021 and an increase of 5.5% since 1994. Romania was ranked 21st in 2021, with Ireland in the lead at 32.8 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands followed in the rankings.
