Import is predicted to drop by 0.3% CAGR from 2,996,000 Kilograms in 2021 to 2,948,300 Kilograms in 2026. Since 2005, Bahraini candy supply has grown by 7.8%, while demand has increased by 1.5%. In 2021, Bahrain ranked number 83 in terms of exports and number 94 in terms of imports. Nigeria overtook the country in exports, while Morocco came ahead in imports. China, Mexico and Belgium were the top three countries in candy exports, while the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands were the top three countries in candy imports.
