Peruvian chocolate exports are set to reach $30 million by 2026, an increase of 3.1% year on year. This follows an 11% increase since 1999. In 2021, the country ranked 58th, just behind Slovenia who exported $25 million. Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, imports of Peruvian chocolate are expected to reach $49 million by 2026, a 3.1% year on year rise. Since 1997, demand has increased 9.1%. In 2021, the country was 74th, behind Costa Rica who imported $41 million. Germany, France and the UK were the top three importers.
