Demand for Cameroonian chocolate is set to rise to around $4 million by 2026, with an average year-on-year growth of 1.9%. In 2021, Cameroon was the 118th largest importer of chocolate, behind Guyana which imported $3.3 million. Germany, France and the UK followed in positions 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Cameroon's chocolate exports are also predicted to increase to nearly $16 million by 2026, with an average year-on-year growth of 1.9%. In 2021, Cameroon was the 65th largest exporter of chocolate, behind Guatemala which exported $14.3 million. Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands followed in positions 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Since 2000, the country's demand and supply for chocolate has grown by 2.9% year on year.
