Batswana's chocolate import and export are set to reach new heights by 2026. Imports are expected to reach $7.6 million, a 1% increase year-on-year. Since 2005, the demand for Batswana chocolate has grown by 6.3% each year. The country ranked 106th in 2021, with Barbados coming ahead at $7.2 million. Germany, France, and the United Kingdom were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Batswana exports of chocolate saw an even larger increase, rising by 401.7% to $10.2 million in 2018 from $2 million in 2017. Since 2005, however, the supply of Batswana chocolate has decreased by 28.4%.
