Slovene chocolate exports are set to reach almost $30 million by 2026 – a 2.2% year-on-year average increase since 1999. In 2021, the country ranked 57th in the world, behind Panama at $25.5 million. Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands were the top three in the ranking. Slovene chocolate imports are also expected to rise to $132 million by 2026. This is an average 1.6% year-on-year increase since 1999. In 2021, Slovenia was 48th in the world, behind Belarus at $119.8 million. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were the top three in the ranking.
