Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands were the top three countries in the rankings. Slovak chocolate imports are also increasing. In 2021, imports totaled $313,590,000, a 2.2% year-on-year growth. This trend has also been consistent since 1999, with a 1.9% year-on-year increase. Slovakia ranked 24th in the world, just behind Denmark. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were the top three countries in the rankings. By 2026, exports and imports are expected to reach $310,750,000 and $361,430,000 respectively.
