Belizean sugarcane production is projected to reach just over 2.2 million metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 47th in the world for production and Ivory Coast was ahead with 1.9 million metric tons. India, Thailand, and China were numbers two, three, and four respectively. Going back to 1966, Belize has seen a steady 5% year-on-year rise in supply.
