Indonesia's sugarcane production is on the rise. It's expected to reach 30.4 million metric tons in 2026, up from 29.5 million metric tons in 2021, with a growth rate of 0.5% year on year. Since 1966, the country's sugarcane supply has grown steadily at a 1.1% annual rate. In 2021, it took 11th place in the global rankings, overtaken by Guatemala with 29.5 million metric tons. India, Thailand, and China came in at second, third and fourth respectively.
