Brazilian olive consumption is predicted to rise to 107,000 metric tons by 2026, up 0.2% from 106,000 metric tons in 2021. This is in stark contrast to the static demand since 2017. The country ranked 7th in 2021, with Spain leading at 106,000 metric tons. Italy, the United States and Greece followed respectively. Meanwhile, Brazilian olive production is set to increase to 3,500 metric tons by 2026, growing at a 4.9% year-on-year rate on average since 1966. The country was 34th in 2021, with Taiwan coming out on top at 2,600 metric tons. Italy, Morocco and Greece took the next three spots.
