Colombia's consumption of olives rose significantly in 2018, reaching 1,000 metric tons - up from 1,000 metric tons the year before. Despite this increase, the country fell to 63rd place in the world rankings, overtaken by Slovenia, which consumed 1,000 metric tons. The top three spots were taken by Italy, the United States and Greece.
