Taiwan is set to produce 2,640 metric tons of olives by 2026. That's just 0.1% more than in 2021. Since 1966, production has remained steady. In 2021, the country ranked 32nd, behind China which produced 2,630 metric tons. Italy, Morocco and Greece made up the top three. Taiwanese olive consumption has stayed the same since 2017, when it totalled 3,000 metric tons. In 2018, the country ranked 48th, behind Finland which consumed 3,000 metric tons. Italy, the United States and Greece made up the top three.
