Since 1966, the country's supply of olives has increased by 3% year on year. Afghanistan currently ranks 30th in the world for olive production, with Macedonia overtaking at 9,030 metric tons. Italy, Morocco and Greece respectively rank 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking.
