Consumption of Russian olive is set to decrease in the coming years. It was at 45.01 thousand metric tons in 2026, down 6.4% from the 2021 figure of 66 thousand metric tons. This was a yearly average drop of 1.5% from 2017. In 2021, Russia was the tenth largest consumer of Russian olive, with France in the lead at 66 thousand metric tons. Italy, the United States and Greece were the second, third and fourth highest consumers respectively.
