Armenia is expected to remain stable in olive consumption over the next five years. In 2021, the country consumed 3 thousand metric tons of olives, ranking 48th worldwide. This is the same amount as in 2017 and the same amount is expected by 2026. Kazakhstan overtook Armenia in 2021, with a consumption of 3 thousand metric tons, while Italy, the United States and Greece respectively followed at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
