Biscuit consumption is projected to dip slightly over the next six years, with an average year-on-year decrease of 0.5%. In 2020, it hit 805.2 million kilograms, but is expected to fall to 778 million kilograms by 2026. This decrease in demand is largely due to a 4.1% drop in year-on-year sales. Spain, Italy and France have been the second, third and fourth biggest markets for biscuits, respectively.
