Consumption of biscuits is projected to reach a staggering 840 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 0.4% on average each year since 2020, when consumption was 822 million kilograms. Demand has even jumped by 0.9% year-on-year. Spain, Italy and France make up the top four countries in terms of biscuit consumption, in that order.
