Olive Oil production in Afghanistan is set to reach almost 950 metric tons by 2026. This is a 2.3% average increase each year since 1966. Last year, Afghanistan was the 26th largest producer, with 828 metric tons. Azerbaijan produced more than Afghanistan, while Greece, Italy and Tunisia took the top three spots. In 2018, Afghanistan consumed 1,000 metric tons of Olive Oil, a slight increase from the year before. The country ranked 63rd in the world for consumption, with Ethiopia consuming slightly more.
