China's soybean oil consumption is on the rise, projected to reach 4.3 million metric tons by 2026. This is a 1% year-on-year growth since 2017, with the country ranking second in 2021 behind the United States, at 4 million metric tons. India and Brazil followed in third and fourth place. Meanwhile, Chinese soybean oil production is set to reach 21.9 million metric tons by 2026, a 2.7% year-on-year growth rate since 1966. The United States, Brazil and Argentina followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
