Since 1966, production has grown 3.6% each year. In 2021, China was the chief producer of soybean oil with 18.7 million metric tons, followed by the US, Brazil and Argentina. The Dominican Republic experienced a 39.3% increase year-on-year, while Croatia saw a 61.4% decrease since 1966.
