Colombian lemon consumption is expected to reach 140,000 metric tons by 2026. This figure is a 0.3% average annual increase since 2017. Colombian lemon production is also set to increase, with a 3.7% year on year growth. This will bring the total produced to 441,000 metric tons by 2026. Since 2004, production has grown by 14.2% each year. Colombia is currently 12th in the world for lemon production, behind Italy, China, Mexico, and Argentina.
