Meanwhile, Chilean lemon production is expected to grow at an average rate of 0.8% each year until 2026. Since 1966, the country has seen an increase of 2.5%. Chile was the 15th largest producer of lemons in 2021, with Peru coming first at 175,130 metric tons. China, Mexico and Argentina followed, ranking second, third and fourth respectively.
