Bangladeshi lemon consumption is expected to reach 63,000 metric tons by 2026, a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to 2021. Since 2017, there has been no change in demand. Production is set to increase by 1.5% year-on-year to reach 77,360 metric tons in 2026. This is a 1.6% increase since 1966. Bangladesh ranked 24th in 2021, with Pakistan coming in first at 70,710 metric tons. China, Mexico and Argentina were second, third and fourth respectively.
