Production of lemons in Antigua is also expected to increase, reaching 535 metric tons by 2026. This is an average increase of 1.5% per year since 1971. In 2021, Antigua ranked 86th worldwide in terms of lemon production, behind Saint Lucia's 488 metric tons. China, Mexico and Argentina followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively.
