Malian lemon consumption is forecast to reach nearly 47,000 metric tons by 2026. This is up 1.4% annually since 2021, when it was 43,000 metric tons. From 2017, demand has fallen by 1.5% a year. Malian lemon production is set to reach almost 65,000 metric tons by 2026. This follows an average annual growth rate of 3.3% since 2021, when it stood at 53,450 metric tons. Since 1990, supply has risen 14.2% a year. In 2021, Malian production ranked 27th in the world, behind Ghana's 53,450 metric tons. Number two, three and four were China, Mexico and Argentina, respectively.
