At the same time, production of lemons in New Zealand is expected to increase 0.8% annually to reach 6,510 metric tons in 2026. Since 1966, supply has grown 0.2% annually. New Zealand was ranked 63rd in 2021, with Malaysia leading the ranking with 6,200 metric tons. China, Mexico, and Argentina were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
