Nepalese lemon production is also expected to grow, reaching 53,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 46,000 metric tons in 2021. This is a 2.4% average annual growth rate since 1995. In 2021, Nepal was ranked 30th in the world for production. Morocco overtook it, producing 46,000 metric tons. China, Mexico and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
