Mango production in the Dominican Republic is expected to drop by 1.2% year-on-year to reach around 36,000 metric tons by 2026. This decline comes after a steady increase since 1966, when the country saw an average yearly growth of 4.4%. In 2021, the Dominican Republic was the 42nd largest producer of mangoes in the world, just behind Iran at 38,500 metric tons. Indonesia, China and Mexico took the top three spots, respectively.
