India is set to become the leading producer of mangoes worldwide by 2026, with production estimated to hit 31 million metric tons. This is up from 27 million metric tons in 2021, a growth of 2.4% year on year. Since 1966, India’s mango production has grown by an average of 7.9% year on year. Indonesia, China and Mexico follow in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
