Mango production in El Salvador is set to drop by 5.3% each year until 2026. This follows a steady decline since 1966, when the country was 49th in the world in mango production. Last year, El Salvador produced 27,220 metric tons of mangoes, but Mozambique surpassed them to claim the 49th spot. Indonesia, China, and Mexico are the top three producers, in that order.
