Uruguay's peach production is estimated to reach nearly 10,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease of about 4% from 2021 levels, when the country ranked 55th in the world. Macedonia overtook Uruguay at 11,930 metric tons. Spain, Italy and Greece were the top three producers of peaches in 2021. Since 1966, Uruguayan peach production has decreased by 1.5% per year on average.
