India is set to become one of the top producers of peaches in the world by 2026. The production of peaches in India has grown at a rate of 1.9% year on year since 1966. In 2021, India was the ninth largest producer of peaches in the world, with 296,900 metric tons. Chile overtook India in the same year. Spain, Italy, and Greece were the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively. By 2026, India is predicted to produce 321,590 metric tons of peaches, an increase of 1.3% year on year. This would make India one of the top producers of peaches in the world.
