Afghan peach production is on the rise. This year, it is set to reach 81,400 metric tons, up 3.9% from 64,750 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, there has been a 33.4% year-on-year growth. In 2021, Afghanistan was the 27th largest peach producer. Armenia came in first with 64,750 metric tons. Spain, Italy and Greece followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
