Syria's peach production is set to drop slightly over the next five years, according to figures released today. Production in 2021 is expected to be 45,310 metric tons, down 0.3% from the previous year. Since 1966, Syrian peach production has fallen 0.6% annually. In 2021, Syria is projected to come in at 33rd place in the rankings, with Peru overtaking it at 46,160 metric tons. Spain, Italy, and Greece are expected to take second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
