Korean wine consumption is expected to reach 33.75 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is a growth rate of roughly 0.3% a year since 2017, when demand for wine in the country remained stable. In 2021, Korea ranked 46th in the world for wine consumption, with Lithuania overtaking the country by consuming 33 thousand metric tons. France, the United States and Italy followed, ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the world, respectively.
