Grapefruit consumption in Madagascar is forecast to remain stagnant over the next five years. In 2021, the country consumed 12,000 metric tons, the same as it did in 2017. This put Madagascar in 33rd place globally, while Belgium was the top consumer with 12,000 metric tons. Vietnam, the U.S., and Mexico were the next three biggest grapefruit consumers.
