Since 2019, Bulgaria's vegetable supply has been on an upward trend, expanding at an average rate of 2.5% per year. In the global rankings for 2023, Bulgaria held the 83rd position, with Cambodia narrowly ahead, also producing about 675,000 metric tons. Leading the list were India, the United States, and Iran, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
