Tunisia is set to increase its asparagus production by 2026, according to a recent study. The country's supply of asparagus is expected to rise by just over half a percent each year, from 250 metric tons in 2021 to 259 metric tons in 2026. This marks an increase of 0.7% since 1995. In 2021, Tunisia was ranked 38th in global asparagus production, with Kenya coming in ahead at 250 metric tons. Peru, Mexico, and Germany were ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
