Belgian asparagus production is on the rise. It's projected to reach over seven thousand metric tons by 2026. From 2005 to 2021, the country experienced an average annual growth rate of 4.7 percent. In 2021, it came in at number 21 in the rankings, behind Hungary at 5,950 metric tons. Peru, Mexico, and Germany followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
