Mauritian cucumber production is on the decline. According to figures from 2021, the country is set to reach 5,050 metric tons by 2026, a drop of 3.3% year-on-year. Since 1966, supply has decreased by an average of 2.4% year-on-year. Mauritius is now ranked 88th, with Latvia overtaking them with 6,160 metric tons. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico rank second, third and fourth respectively.
