Guyanese cucumber production is expected to decline slightly over the next five years, dropping 1.7% a year on average. In 2021, the country had 2,840 metric tons of cucumbers, down from 3,140 metric tons in 2021. Since 2002, production has increased at an average yearly rate of 4.8%. In 2021, Guyana ranked 94th in the world, overtaken by Mongolia. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
