Kazakhstan is set to become one of the leading cucumber-producing countries in the world. By 2026, the country's production is estimated to reach 590,000 metric tons. This marks an average 2% year-on-year increase since 1997. In 2021, Kazakhstan ranked 11th in cucumber production, with 515,000 metric tons. Japan was the top producer with 515,390 metric tons. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
