Jamaica’s cucumber production is on the rise. By 2026, it is expected to reach 21,230 metric tons, a 1.3% average year-on-year growth. This continues a steady increase since 1966, when production was just 0.7% year-on-year. In 2021, Jamaica ranked 72nd in the world for cucumber production. Ivory Coast surpassed the country, producing 19,630 metric tons. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico followed, in the second, third and fourth places.
