Cucumber production in Saudi Arabia is set to drop dramatically over the next five years. Last year, the country's production was 60,060 metric tons, ranking 46th in the world. This year, the figure is expected to drop to 17,180 metric tons - a 20.2 percent decrease year-on-year. Since 1983, Saudi's cucumber production has decreased by an average 11.2 percent year-on-year. North Korea led the global rankings last year, producing 60,060 metric tons. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
