Iraqi cucumber production is set to drop by 22.8% over the next five years. Last year, the country produced 101,580 metric tons of cucumbers, making it the 35th largest producer in the world. Malaysia overtook Iraq to become the largest producer of cucumbers. Russia, Ukraine and Mexico followed, coming in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Since 1966, Iraqi cucumber production has increased by an average of 2.1% a year.
