This figure stood at 776,000 metric tons in 2021, with Nigeria leading the ranking at the same level. India, the United States and Russia followed in positions 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Meanwhile, Ethiopian potato production is set to reach 1,087,200 metric tons by 2026, with an average annual rate of 1.7%. This figure was at 984,600 metric tons in 2021, Azerbaijan coming ahead. India, Russia and Ukraine occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots in the ranking, respectively.
