Potato consumption in Cuba is expected to reach around 170,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 150,000 metric tons in 2021 – an average annual increase of 1.8%. Since 1966, potato production in Cuba has increased by 4.8% year on year. In 2021, the country ranked 99, while Lesotho was ahead with 120,720 metric tons. India, Russia and Ukraine ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
